The main musical instrument is Lira de la estela de Luna, which is a musical instrument reproduced from a pattern on a stone monument unearthed in the town of Luna (moon) on the Iberian Peninsula. It is translated into Chinese as Lunar Lyra (or Tatsi Lyra). The stele is currently stored in the Zaragoza Museum in Spain. It dates back to about three thousand years, which coincides with the Beinan cultural period. The song is dotted with a variety of original traditional musical instruments, such as Chajchas made from sheep’s toenails, Queena, an early flute made of wood, Palo de Lluvia, which makes the sound of rain, and Güiro de made from seeds. Calabaza seca, Pad Ghungroo, a special footbell for dancing, Frame Drum, a sheepskin tambourine, etc., are expected to use a more open sound to weave people’s infinite imagination of the Puyuma culture.
